We continue our mobility under UNICAC project
IET TSUC in Khujand welcomes partners from Tashkent University of Information Technologies
In the framework of UNICAC project Institute of Economy and Trade of TSUC in Khujand welcomes partners from Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT). Staff of TUIT will have mobility actions under UNICAC W.P. 3.7.2. PILOT TESTING. According to mobility agenda our guests were welcomed by the authorities of the IET TSUC.
After, there was organized a roundtable at the International Center and Global Engagement (ICGE) office with Dalerjon Mirpochoev – the Deputy Director on Research and International Affairs and Saidqosim Mukhtorov – the Head of the ICGE. The main topic of discussion was about strengthening partnership between the HEIs, which is one of the important goals in the framework of UNICAC. Also Saidqosim Saidosimovich conducted a presentation about IET TSUC to our guests from Uzbekistan. Follow us to be aware about other sessions of the mobility.

According to mobility agenda our guests were welcomed by the authorities of the IET. The second day of the mobility under UNICAC project started with the presentation about the activity of the International Center and Global Engagement of IET by the Head of ICGE – Saidqosim Saidosimovich. He presented information about students and staff mobility in the framework of the several programs like UNICAC, Erasmus+ ICM and etc. It is important to note that the curve of mobility performed by IET is growing vertically and in 2022 there has been organized more than 30 mobilities, this number is expected to be increased by the end of the year. The mobility staff of TUIT were excited and liked the activity of the ICGE very much. Straight after it, our guests expressed a wish to visit IET Acceleration of Digital Business center and there was organized a tour.
According to the agenda there was a planned lecture about telecommunications by Professor Ahmad Yusupov from TUIT. Professor has told about the history of telecommunications, its perspectives and implementation. The lecture was conducted very interesting and students were very active in discussion.
The 3rd and 4th days of the mobility there was held a roundtable with Information Technology department and the actual topic of the conversation was about information technology opportunities for partnership and potential projects. During the conversation two parties have identified some common points and decided to strengthen collaboration on information technology sphere.
Also there was conducted a lecture on Artificial Intelligence by lecturer from TUIT – Askaraliev Odilbek. As artificial intelligence is fast growing industry there is a rising interest among the youth of our country. Thus, the lecture was very informative and practical.
According to the agenda there were organized 3 lectures by IET TSUC professors in the fields of financial math, and on topics about “The independence of Tajikistan, post – soviet epoch, civil war” and “Internationalization of Tajik philosophy and science in the past”. Straight after that, Professor Ahmed Yusupov led a lecture on nanotechnologies and students actively participated.
The last day of the mobility was mostly busy by attending the lectures. Staff of the IET has organized two lectures on information technologies about programming language Pascal and C++. Our dear guests from TUIT were given their mobility certificates by the Head of IET ICGE – Saidqosim Mukhtorov. Professor Ahmed Yusupov expressed his deepest appreciation to IET TSUC staff for hosting them in the framework of the UNICAC W.P. 3.7.2. PILOT TESTING. Both authorities of IET TSUC and TUIT agreed in opinion that the end of the mobility is the beginning of more tight partnership between the HEIs.
The peculiarities of Tajik alphabet and sounds
We had a meeting with UNICAC partners in the frame of program on the following topic: Development of Potentials for International Cooperation in Teaching/Learning/Research – 3.7 Pilot Testing: Mobility actions of students and professors. The consortium engaged attendees from the University of Torino (Italy), Laurea University of Applied Sciences (Finland), Institute of Economy and Trade of Tajik State University (Tajikistan), National University of Uzbekistan (Uzbekistan), and Tashkent University of Information Technologies (Uzbekistan).
Due to this event I had an interesting class on the theme “The peculiarities of Tajik alphabet and sounds” with international students. The aim of the class was to provide the foreigners with materials about similarities and differences of pronunciation and writing of Tajik and English letters and sounds. In the course of the lesson we mostly spoke a lot about origination of our language, culture and history of alphabet. The students were very active and passionate and gained a lot about the mentioned themes. During the lesson the students practiced this language and communicated with us in Tajik.
Collaborative lessons under the UNICAC program
On May 12, 2022 the guests from the partner universities of Finland, Italy, Spain and Uzbekistan conducted lessons in English groups of Institute of Economy and Trade of TSUC. Professors explained the topics related close to their chosen profession. The student activity could be seen during the lesson and they were also excited to share their own opinion by bringing examples.
Finland representatives had topic on “Service design” and students worked by dividing into several groups. While discussing the “what could Tajikistan do to attract more foreign exchange students?” which was the center topic and it included topics on promoting and mountains, nature, Navruz, more relations with other universities, travel agency in Khujand, more English groups and programs and traditions. Most students did their best to leave an excellent impression on Professors of foreign partners and could express their own point of view. The representatives of the partner universities also gave essential information about their universities mostly about the education study and opportunities.
The students of Institute of Economy and Trade of TSUC got valuable experience and witnessed the best international practices while participating in lessons. The students shared their interest to greet them back to Tajikistan the next time and were very grateful for the conducting the lesson.
We are continuing our seminar in the framework of the UNICAC project
On May 11, 2022, in the International Relations department held on training activities specified under the ERASMUS+ program on W.P.3.7.2. PILOT TESTING: Mobility actions of students and professors.
First, c.ph.s, docent, Ismailova Mutriba, Senior Lecturer of the Foreign Languages Department Zaripova Munavvar, and Head of International Relations Mukhtorov Saidqosim made a joint presentation on “Tourism in Tajikistan”. The guests learned about the culture and civilization of the Tajiks, the unique natural resources, and the great historical monuments of Tajikistan.
After then, c.ph.s, docent, Kamolov Farrukh made a presentation on “Internationalization of Tajik philosophy and science in the past.”
Then the 3rd internal workshop with local participants and partner universities in Khujand is connected by zoom with partner universities. The opening workshop was conducted by Deputy Director of Research and International Relations Dalerjon Mirpochoev and during his speech stated: “We are all here gathered to discuss the issues of internationalization of research, internationalization problems and issues of universities and some specialties of functioning universities this seminar will help to find some aspects to formulate some visions of the further cooperation “
The Head of the International Relations Department Saidqosim Mukhtorov expressed his speech mostly about the UNICAC program and mentioned that UNICAC has been coordinated by the University of Seville the idea of the UNICAC is to build institutional international cooperation between universities of Central Asia and China this workshops and coming international joint conference will be dedicated to university cooperation of Central Asia with China and other parts of East Asia in the framework of the UNICAC project and mentioned that 7 different work packages are being implemented
The representative of China also mentioned in his speech: “In the future, we are looking for having more and more particular cooperation to have essential discussions and cooperation and I hope we will have more opportunities to have further cooperation in the future”
Moreover, the other guest from the partner universities expressed her thoughts on having online conferences during the pandemic situation and stated: “The purpose of this online workshop was to share best practices and also challenges”
In the end, the representatives of partner universities expressed their gratitude to have the chance to visit Tajikistan.
International Mobility at IET TSUC
Mobile activities of professors and students under the ERASMUS + program in the framework of the “UNICAC Project” are continuing. The mobile seminar was attended by teachers, professors, and students from Finland, Spain, Italy, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.
On May 10, 2022, the seminar was held on various topics at a high level. The training began with an introductory speech by the Deputy Director of Science and International Relations, c.e.s., docent Mirpochoev Dalerjon.
Mukhtorov Saidqosim, Head of the International Relations Department, spoke on the topic “IET TSUC: The path to internationalization ” and told about the history of the Institute: yesterday and today.
Then the head of the Department of World Economy, c.e.s., Mukhitdinova Shoira spoke to the guests about the achievements and opportunities of the Department of World Economy. In her speech, she informed about the students and teachers of IET TSUC who have traveled abroad and are currently traveling under the ERASMUS + exchange program in the framework of the “UNICAC Project”. Then, c.e.s., Anastasia Komarova made a presentation in English on “History of success of IET TSUC.” Deputy Director on Science and International Relations, c.e.s., docent, Mirpochoev Dalerjon spoke on the topic “Internationalization of research and IET TSUC’s scientific potential.”
On behalf of the University of Seville, Professor Filipo Di Pietro prepared the topic of “International center and mobility programs at the faculty of economy and business.” He told the guests about the international center and the mobility programs at the Faculty of Economics and Business.
The speech was given to Professor Christian Collina from the University of Turin. Professor Christian Collina spoke on “Research and Education”. In his speech, he noted that ” Research and education are the cornerstones of the world’s best academic institutions, where publishing innovative ideas and producing successful, well-informed students are key objectives.”
Speaking on behalf of Laureate University, Ilona Frisk gave brief information about the Laurea University of AS.
Professor Gavhar Tuklieva from the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek spoke about the “Internationalization of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek”. Participants also learned more about the achievements of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek.
The workshop was held at a high level.

In the framework of the UNICAC project, we have started our mobility under the W.P. 3.7.2. PILOT TESTING: Mobility actions of students and professors – hosting IET TSUC at IET TSUC Khujand, Tajikistan.
On May 9, 2022, there are 20 teachers and students from the partner Universities visited the Institute of Economy and Trade of Tajik State University of Commerce in Khujand.
Director of the IET TSUC c.e.c., docent Hashimzoda Homid Hasan, Deputy Director for Science and International Relations, c.e.c., docent Mirpochoev Dalerjon, Head of International Relations Department Mukhtorov Saidqosim welcomed the guests to the IET TSUC.
Mukhtorov Saidqosim informed about the history of IET TSUC and acquainted them with the achievements and successes of the Institute. Mobility actions of students and professors continue.
