On July 29, 2024, under the guidance of Liaoning Provincial Department of Education, Shenyang Normal University, Institute of Economy and Trade of Tajik State University of Commerce, Liaoning Shiyuan Ecological Agriculture Technology Co., Ltd., and co-organized by Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University, Liaoning Transportation College, and Liaoning Agricultural Vocational and Technical College, the unveiling ceremony of the “Mozi Workshop” of modern agriculture in Khujand, Tajikistan and the China-Tajikistan Vocational Education Innovation and Development Seminar were held in the multi-function hall on the third floor of the International Education College of the Shenyang Normal University. Su Yunhai, Director of the Vocational Education and Adult Education Department of Liaoning Provincial Department of Education, Director of the IET TSUC JALILZODA ABDURASHIT ABDUKAMOL, the President of the Shenyang Normal University Mrs. Yang Song, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Vice President Tong Yuping, more than 50 representatives of Chinese and foreign universities, enterprises, teachers and students attended the ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Sun Fuguang, secretary of the Party Branch directly under the International Education College.
At the beginning of the ceremony, teachers and students of Shenyang Normal University affiliated art school also performed the pipa and bamboo flute duet “Why are the flowers so red”, the Peking opera “Luhua Dang”, and the Tibetan dance “Tsering Laso”.
President Yang Song delivered a speech at the ceremony, emphasizing that the “Mozi Workshop” cooperation project is not only the result of cooperation between Higher Education Institutions and enterprises in China and Tajikistan, but also a symbol of deepening the friendship between the two countries. She hopes that the Chinese and foreign parties will carry out the construction of the “Mozi Workshop” from five aspects. First, adhering to the concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind and the principles of consultation, co-construction, sharing and win-win, the “Mozi Workshop” should play a unique role in enhancing understanding, building consensus, promoting cooperation and deepening friendship;
Secondly, do a good job in top-level design, train high-quality skilled talents for Tajikistan and other “Belt and Road” countries, and serve overseas “going out” enterprises; third, strengthen quality awareness, and do a good job in the three major articles of “Mozi Workshop”, “Chinese + Chinese culture”, “Chinese + Profession” and “Chinese + Vocational education”;
Fourth, improve the ability to run schools, set up the “Mozi Workshop” teacher training base, and create a high-quality and professional full-time teaching management team between China and Tajikistan;
Fifth, improve the service system, and make every effort to promote high-quality education resource platforms, industry-education integration exchange platforms, and regional economic development platforms.
In his speech, Director Su Yunhai introduced the basic situation of vocational education in Liaoning Province and the “Mozi Workshop”. He hopes that Shenyang Normal University would give full play to the role of Liaoning Vocational Education Research Institute, rely on the university’s disciplinary advantages in food, biology, tourism, software, and law, and deepen cooperation between Chinese and foreign universities and enterprises to build the modern agriculture “Mozi Workshop” in Khujand, Tajikistan into an overseas industrial college brand project, promote the opening up of Liaoning vocational education, and promote economic and social development.
Director JALILZODA ABDURASHIT ABDUKAMOL delivered a speech at the ceremony. He said that under the cooperation framework of “Mozi Workshop”, Khujand City has opened the “Mozi Workshop” International Research Center, and the cooperation between Chinese and Tajik universities and enterprises will enter a new stage. The “Mozi Workshop” project is in line with the recent reform of the higher vocational education system in Tajikistan, including the requirements of gradually implementing a dual-track education system. With the joint efforts of all parties, it will work together to promote close and pragmatic cooperation between Central Asia and China.
Liu Yuqiang, President of Liaoning Shiyuan Ecological Agriculture Technology Co., Ltd., emphasized in his speech that talent is the first resource for corporate development and the key force to promote the progress of the industry. Shiyuan Group will leverage its own corporate advantages to provide project start-up funds, build a platform for overseas talent employment and entrepreneurship, and fully support and participate in the construction of the “Mozi Workshop” project.
SOBIROV FARHODJON, Operational Director of the Farovon Group of Tajikistan, in his speech said that he would make full use of the Farovon Group’s industry experience and influence in Tajikistan, high-quality products and international trade platform advantages to provide support for “Mozi Workshop” to carry out university-enterprise cooperation overseas.
At the ceremony, President of the Shenyang Normal University Mrs. Yang Song and Director of the Institute of Economy and Trade of TSUC Mr. JALILZODA ABDURASHIT ABDUKAMOL jointly unveiled the “Mozi Workshop” of modern agriculture in Khujand, Tajikistan; Vice President Tong Yuping and Director Su Yunhai unveiled the Modern Agricultural Industry College; SAIDQOSIM MUKHTOROV, Director of the International Center and Global Affairs Office of the IET TSUC, and Zhang Wei, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office of the SYNU, unveiled the “Mozi Workshop” International Research Center in Khujand.
