On August 12, the Mozi Workshop started its seminar sessions. According to the agenda, there were 3 sessions. At the beginning of each seminar, the coordinator of Mozi Workshop from Shenyang Normal University, Ms. Xiaoyi Li, and the coordinator of International Research Center of Mozi Workshop in Khujand, Mr. Saidqosim Muktorov, welcomed the participants to the Mozi Workshop seminars.
Module 1 consists of two parts where the audience can learn some basic Chinese language and get acquainted with the rich Chinese culture. The Chinese language was taught by the Associate Professor of Shenyang Normal University, Mrs. Zhang Yue. The sessions were very interesting and the learners who had some knowledge of Chinese language liked the seminar very much.
The second part of the module, as mentioned above, was dedicated to Chinese culture, especially the culture of Chinese traditional arts. It was a privilege for the audience to be taught by the professor of the Affiliated Art School of Shenyang Normal University, Mr. Wang Xiadong. As Professor Xiadong has both very rich theoretical knowledge and practical experience in art, he gave a very interesting seminar and even performed some parts of Chinese traditional art, which was well received by the audience. The participants of the seminar expressed that the knowledge of Chinese culture and tradition will contribute to bridge two friendly and neighboring nations.
Module 2 was about digital agriculture and ways to implement it. Associate Professor of Software College Zhang Yong was the lead lecturer of the seminar. The topic was interesting for the participants as most of them were practitioners in the field of agriculture, and the session was very active with the audience asking a lot of practical questions and sharing their experiences.
The last module of the day, Module 4, was devoted to e-commerce. Senior Lecturer Yue Wen from International Business College explained the ways of registering e-stores, promoting products and services in the e-commerce platforms internationally.
Such seminars are in line with the goals of the One Belt One Road initiative and will definitely contribute to strengthening cooperation between the People’s Republic of China and Tajikistan.
