IET TSUC delegation participated in the UNICAC final partner meeting

IET TSUC delegation participated in the UNICAC final partner meeting and conference which was conducted in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The final partner meeting was held in the National University of Uzbekistan on September 21st. The meeting was organized in a both online and offline format. In the first day there was a summary of the project which lasted 4 years. Then other members of the project presented the jobs they have done according the work packages they were responsible on. Also there were collaboration agreements between the partners.
On September 22nd the conference was hosted by Tashkent University of Information Technologies. There was an opening speech by authorities of the university, then the stage was given to Maurizio Cisi from University of Torino. He had a presentation on theme “Capitals needed and managed for the enhancement of IROs”. Also there were discussed the topics about the opportunities of international cooperation between Central Asia and EU, innovative projects for young researchers.
 
The Head of International Center and Global Engagement of IET TSUC, Saidqosim Mukhtorov described about the process of internationalization of higher education in Tajikistan. He pointed out the pros and cons, also the perspectives of the internationalization process. Saidqosim Mukhtorov confirmed that the process of internationalization at IET has begun and the 8 goals defined by the institute could be a mover for reaching internationalization. The external evaluator of the project Abror Djuraev from Bukhara State University assessed the project 4 out of 4 and gave some recommendations. Also there were presentation from Chinese partner universities in online format.
On the final day of the conference there was a meeting between coordinators and the financial manager of the project to discuss the responsibilities completed by partner universities. It is our honor to note that the efforts of the IET TSUC team led by coordinator was approved, moreover it was announced to be notable performance during 4 years of the project cycle.
