Erasmus+ Staff Mobility in 2023-2024

One of the IET TSUC’s key strategic objectives is to be internationalised and to educate global citizens. This is not possible without a constant flow of mobility between the IET TSUC and its partner universities.
The International Centre and Global Engagement team do their best to maintain and strengthen fruitful partnerships with universities around the world. The result of the work is paying off as this academic year we have sent 12 university staff for training and teaching under the Erasmus+ ICM KA 171.
We would like to thank our partners Laurea University of Applied Sciences in Finland, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek in Croatia, University of Seville, University of Cantabria and University of Cordoba in Spain for hosting our staff for training and teaching mobility this academic year. On our side, we are always ready and happy to receive both professors and students from our partners. Here at IET TSUC, we believe that continuous two-way mobility between our partner universities is the main key to the internationalisation of higher education.

2024 “Chinese Bridge” Online Seminar of “Experiencing the Silk Road Cultures in Shaanxi”

2024 “Chinese Bridge” Online Seminar of “Experiencing the Silk Road Cultures in Shaanxi”, of Xi’AN University of Technology has successfully completed.
“Chinese Bridge” online program approved by the Sino-foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. This project provides an introduction to the characteristics of the Chinese language and the Chinese national culture.
International students from another countries, including students from IET TSUC, participated in the event.
During the week, the students learned about the Silk Road culture in Shaanxi and the most beautiful architectural sites, and also watched a video about the history of “Shaanxi Province on the Great Silk Road”.
We would like to remind you that the lessons were held in Chinese, which gave the students the opportunity to practice their Chinese language.
The certificates were awarded to students at the end of the ceremony.

Participation in the exhibition of higher education of the Shaanxi region of the People’s Republic of China in Dushanbe

The Head of the ICGE of the Institute of Economy and Trade Saidqosim Mukhtorov is representing our institute in the international event. This exhibition laid the foundation for new cooperative relationships with a number of universities in the Shaanxi region. In particular, with the rector of the Northwestern University of Political Science and Law, Professor Fan Jiu li, with the Dean of the Faculty of International Studies of Chan Gang University, Professor Zhang Wei, with the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Studies of the Northwestern Agricultural and Forestry University, Ms. Wang Yu Huan, with the Director of the Admissions Committee Northwestern Polytechnic University Ms. Jai Wen and others held mutually beneficial meetings.
We are happy to announce that the Institute of Economics and Trade of the Tajik State University of Commerce was awarded a special award for supporting and promoting the development of international cooperation between universities in the Shaanxi region and expanding friendly and partnership relations between the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Tajikistan.
IET’s partnership with universities in the People’s Republic of China has developed rapidly, and a plan for the implementation of a major bilateral project is being prepared.

Alisher Jobirov took part in the International Youth Math Challenge

На изображении может находиться: 1 человек, стоитAlisher Jobirov a first year student, world economy study programme at the IETTSUC took part in the International Youth Math Challenge and was awarded an honorary certificate. The competition was attended by more than 6500 students from 98 countries. Jobirov’s score placed among the top 15% of all participants and final’s score top 50% of 1400 participants that took part in final round.
During conversation with Alisher he noted:”For the first time I took part in the competition. All exercises was without solving standard methods. Participant must solve all of exercises without helping any teachers by his own mathematical knowledge.”We wish Alisher best of luck in his study!
