The Institute of Economy and Trade of the Tajik State University of Commerce (IET TSUC) has joined the China-Eurasia University International Alliance for Culture, Art and Education

The Institute of Economy and Trade of the Tajik State University of Commerce (IET TSUC) has joined the China-Eurasia University International Alliance for Culture, Art and Education.
Initiated by our strategic partner ShenyangNormalUniversity, Liaoning Province, China, the International Alliance brings together 36 universities and 3 companies from 8 different countries.
IET TSUC is vice-chair of the China-Eurasia University International Alliance for Culture, Art and Education, representing Tajikistan. Our university’s forward-looking internationalisation strategy and the establishment of collaborative relationships with local universities invited the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics (TSULBP) to become a member of the International Alliance.

The International Alliance aims to promote international, intercultural education, especially in the training of highly qualified talents, to share knowledge and resources, to strengthen cooperation mechanisms, and to support intercultural exchange through student and faculty mobility in the Eurasian region.
The Alliance will accelerate and support international research among its members and expand scientific capacities through links between researchers and scientific centres. A sub-alliance focusing on legal education has been established under the International Alliance. Both the IET TSUC and the TSULBP have become members of this legal studies sub-alliance.
The opening ceremony on 13 November was attended by Luo Wenbo, Deputy Director of the Liaoning Provincial Department of Education, Zhao Hongbin, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Liaoning Provincial People’s Government, Lu Peng, Full-time Vice-President of the Liaoning People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Professor Yang Song, Rector of Shenyang Normal University, rectors and vice-rectors of member universities.

The delegation from Tajikistan, Shuhratjon Mashokirov, Deputy Director of the IET TSUC, Saidqosim Mukhtorov, Head of the International Centre and Global Engagement, Tojiboev Sherozjon, Dean of the Law Faculty of TSULBP, took part in the opening ceremony of the International Alliance. The representatives of the member universities jointly signed the Alliance Initiative and reviewed and approved the “Legal Alliance Charter”.
Yang Song, Rector of Shenyang Normal University, took over the presidency of the Alliance for the year 2024. During the meeting, a representative also approved the Alliance’s roadmap and annual plan.

The International Forum of Exchange and Mutual Learning of Eurasian Cultures was held on the occasion of the founding of the Alliance. Experts from China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and other countries presented various topics on international cooperation.
From the Tajik delegation, Shuhratjon Mashokirov shared the experience of IET TSUC on “China-Tajikistan University Cooperation within SCO and Belt and Road Indicatives”.
