The International Relations department of IET TSUC was created on September 1, 2009. The main goal of the department is development of international relations in the field of education and close bilateral communication between IET TSUC and various world universities. Increasing the knowledge of students and preparation of modern professionals by conducting international practice and creating conditions for the exchange of students are the main responsibilities of the department.
In 2016-2017 academic year, the department’s activity has become more effective. Only from September 2016 to January 2017, relations with more than 3 new partners for further cooperation were established.
In particular, 5 new projects within the ERASMUS + program, Jean Monnet and the World Bank, were developed jointly with European and Russian universities. In particular, only within the ERASMUS + program the Institute is working on 4 projects in cooperation with many universities:
1) With Bologna University of Italy on the project “Tourism Development in the Republic of Tajikistan” under the capacity building program.
2) With St. Petersburg State Economic University under the project “Contribution of Universities to Sustainable Development” under the Capacity Building program.
3) With St. Petersburg State University of Economics in the framework of the Jean Monnet program.
4) With University of Cantabria, Spain the project (mobility) of student exchange between the IET of the TSUC and the University of Cantabria.
The Institute cooperates with other universities, mainly in the area of the exchange of teachers and students, conducting joint researches, participation in conferences and scientific symposia, as well as language training.
It should be noted that students from abroad, including from Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Belarus, study at IET TSUC.
Today the Institute closely cooperates with 21 countries of the world and more than 50 universities.
