Celebrating Erasmus Day at Institute of Economy and Trade of TSUC.

We are starting the celebration of Erasmus Day at Institute of Economy and Trade of TSUC here in Khujand, Tajikistan. The Institute of Economy and Trade of TSUC is celebrating the ErasmusDays from October 15-17, 2020.
The first-day highlights…
Discussing about the Erasmus programme, its mission, values, and what opportunities within the programme. We have presented all Erasmus projects running at the IET TSUC, all partner universities.

The interesting part was the presentation of IET TSUC ICM alumni from the University of Cantabria, University of Cordoba, and from Istanbul Gedik University. The auditorium was well motivated and inspired by their stories and unforgettable Erasmus experience, also highlighting how the global pandemic affected their life in Europe. We have presented new projects with our partners, also discussed about the UNICAC project activities, results, and further steps. It was a great pleasure to have a video message from UNICAC coordinator Ms. Inmaculada Vives from the University of Seville.
The second part of today’s event was a national roundtable with the participation of the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics, Mining – metallurgical Institute of Tajikistan, and the IET TSUC.
UNICAC institutional coordinator Saidqosim Mukhtorov emphasized challenges in UNICAC implementation during the pandemic of COVID-19, possible solutions and adapting its activities in the new normal. The major achieved results within the UNICAC project were shared, including the experience of benchmarking International relations, self-assessment of international relations and using new technologies in current conditions, which are essential in developing international cooperation in HEIs. Tomorrow we will continue the #ErasmusDays, and we will be consulting students about how to participate in Erasmus, how to prepare applications, how to write motivation letters, etc.
